ANNETTE YSSELDYK
Annette Ysseldyk is an emerging mixed-media artist based in Welland, Ontario.
Creating has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Art is how she processes the world and translates feeling into form. She is currently enrolled in the Mastery Program through the Milan Art Institute, where she's immersed in a season of learning, experimentation, and growth. This journey is helping her refine her skills, clarify her style, and deepen both her creative voice and her connection to the work she creates.
Her art explores the concepts of transformation, mystery, and the things we keep within ourselves, and she's inspired by the curves, rhythms, and colours of the natural world and the human form. She works primarily with acrylic paint, oil paint, and collage, often layering mediums together to create depth, movement, and warmth.
